No, I'm not a specialist, just an interpreter) And (somewhat) organizator of meeting (car, food, escort etc.). Kick-off meeting - its just the first meeting, as I understand. Englishmen used this term in an agenda for brief (10-15 minutes) conversation before the fit-check.
